All the materials in the Tree In A Box kits are biodegradable, organic, recycled or recycable. The book and box are printed on high-grade recycled paper with soy inks. The kits use an organic biodegradable peat pot and everything is packaged in the smallest and tightest possible format to reduce waste. The kits are assembled by hand locally, from Portland, Oregon.

Each Kit contains:

• An Expandable Nutrient Soil Pellet (Pellet magically fills the pot when watered!)

The 32-page information packed booklet includes growing instructions, information about the specific tree, “Tree Facts” about the environmental benefits of trees, and interesting tree mythology.
